i went to my SVX professor home yesternite

that's a potluck. after i played badminton with my fren, we went to the SVX professor home yesternite. i think that he should be the only professor in my university who's driving the SVX. he's a '94 blue one w/89k. he's also the one who i called him and talked(checking for service manual) before met him. after the talk, he actually knew nothing much for the car. i think, he's driving his for about 2yrs w/o knowing abt the tranny prob. don't even know what the cooler for. that's good and no prob yet. seeee!! this is the example!! :D

when he saw my car, oh we'd the same car. mine is awd but his isn't. :D i told him i was the one who called him. in his house, we'd some talk, i told him about the next year's meet. i told him about the happened meet in japan. we're planning to break the record. you go you get lucky draw thing. :D:D he seemed not to be very interested. :( :( i couldn't force him. that's my professor.

his SVX, apparently looks in good shape. he just complained to me when he stopped from a long drive. he smelled some rubber burn. :D i told him could be the seals. just drag it first if's becoming more smoke. it's bit pricey to fix. everybody, right? the other complaint to me is, he told me his speedometer doesn't work now. his rpm still works. i wasn't sure i told him it could be the cable's broken. in my country, i'd the same experience that my motorcyle's speedometer stopped working 'cuz of that. possible is the cable thing or what? everybody?? give me some idea to my prof. anyway, he'd ask someone to fix that.

he told me he might want to sell his SVX. HUH? why? it's a great car blah-blah-blah. he's worrying if anything wrong he doesn't know how to fix. but is great great one!!! before left, he said he might drive it for a while for fun. if he ever wants to sell, let me know, i may ask the pple here to find it a good home. he'd like to get a minivan later. i'd to agree with him that minivan can carry more persons and a better family car. :)

Speedometer is electronically driven. There is no "speedometer cable" like other cars have. Could be the sensor has failed, or con disconnected on the front of the tranny, but I think that would also send a VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) check engine light code. Might want to ask Chris Debban in his forum if the VSS and speedometer are driven off the same input.
