Accelerator Cable (RHD) Required
 

Hey all....

While investigating acceleration lethargy on my 92 over the weekend we discovered that the accelerator cable had stretched. BTW thanks to Matt for finding the problem :)

Subaru NZ say the part is no longer available ex Japan.. :eek:

Anyone know where I might find a new part (preferred) or a really good second hand unit? Needs to from a RHD vehicle.

I would think a LHD one could be made to fit, not a lot of difference.

I would've assumed that the LHD one would be longer to cross over to the right hand side of the engine bay where the throttle connection is located??

Just a guess on my part :)

What about a custom cable maker in Aust/NZ.. anyone know of anybody?

Yes it would be longer, but not that much, that it would not fit.
