So where are all the '93's?
 

I was flipping through a car book (some R&T thingie) this a. at Books a Million (I'm like a BAM groupie) and it said there were 3,6XX '92's sold, 3,8XX '93's, 1,661 (?) '94's, 1,8XX '95's, 640 '96's, and 640 '97's.

So Mr. Pockets has a '93, and I believe Seraph has one (?). Where are all the others?

An SOA employee (I believe the guy in charge of American distribution - don't ask me how I got his email, I can't remember*) told me that 301 25th Anniversary SVXs were sold. All of them were Barcelona Red.

I see '93s (or hear of them) very rarely. And as I have yet to see a '93 that was not originally painted B-Red, I an inclined to believe Mr. SOA.

The other SVXs sold in '93 were, I am convinced, leftover '92s.

* But I do remember Larry III getting his pants in a twist because I mentioned the 10th Anniversary meet to the guy.

John Shotsky used to have two 93's (one of which was Richeich93's, 93). I think he may have sold one. Not sure.

Hey Randy, whatever became of Shotsky? Does he ever show up either here or over on Yahoo? I wonder if he's still coming to the meet? So many questions! I wonder what happened to my car, or where it is now if he doesn't have it.

My 93 is still around and running great
 

I'm still driving my 93 around all the time. I just hit 170,000 miles last week too. Kozypup (marisa) has hers down in San Antonio and is rapidly approaching 100,000 miles and desperately needs to change her timing belt. I hope she gets it done before she tries driving to the meet, or she may be calling one of us to pick her up someplace between texas and the meet :-)

I have a 93 and so does skinwrangler, both of us are in Washington. The membership list that is in cocacola08 locker lists 93s that are not Barcelona Red. They list the other colors as 25th anniversery editions, and they only came in Barcelona Red (301 of them). (Earl ducks and waits for the fall out) The other colors could have been left over 92s, but the only way to know for sure is by the VIN. It would be nice if we could get all of the cars registered. Oh well.:rolleyes:
