Isn't the Dakar Rally the most dangerous sanctioned event in the world?
I read that somewhere recently. |
I would think that and the Pike's Peak hill climb. 130+mph and no guardrails over looking a 700+ foot drop.

I was agreeing with you. I think alot of them die, especially in years past, just from being so remote.

man thats so dangerous but so awesome.....gotta give those drivers alot of credit....and alot of prayers!! |
My brother, Michael Krynock, is racing in this race.
He is riding a KTM, and he thinks he has a broken wrist. His # is 98. Please pray for him. Pikes Peak is a one day walk in the park, this is 15 days of land mines, hidden boulders, deserts, pain, stress, physical punishment that would break almost anybody. But he is not anybody, he is my brother. Please pray for him. |

that race is brutally hard, and even to finish is a victory. any race that you have to be wary of DESERT BANDITS in a harsh environment is just......TOUGH! |

Sorry to hear the news. It's a dangerous business, I'm sure fatigue leads to mistakes towards the later stages, but the speeds don't allow for a margin of error. Deep regrets to Andy's family. Joe:( |
