Plug not connected?
 

I picked up my car today after having the tranny rebuild. But the steering is hard and the power sterring light is on! I went under the car and noticed that there's a sensor that connects to the exhaust(Left one) in that same connector there's a plug that's not connected to anything? The power steering was fine and I never had the light come on. Is there supposed to be something connected there? If so I don't see the other part to this connection.

Fix it yet?

Sounds as though they unplugged the connector to the steering rack.

Yes, I found one end of a plug but I couldn't see the other end to the plug and I finally found it and that was the problem. I went back and yelled at the guy :mad:
