In the armrest.

You pop it up and settle the cupholders in. For as awkward as it sounds, it actually works pretty well.

...and you can close the armrest with the cupholder in place (empty, of course).

Oh, and if Earl doesn't want the cupholder, I could certainly go for it for a reasonable price.
