Took Austin to see it this evening (wife and daughters judged it to be a "guy flick" from the trailers:rolleyes:). Great movie! The scenes in which Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is building the IRON MAN suit are a Mechanical Engineer's nirvana :lol::lol:

I won tickets to see the premier a few days ago. It was pretty awesome. Not as spectacular as Transformers but pretty damn good.

I agree completely! I love how they focused on his mechanical and electronic knowledge because it just made the movie for me.

Well I am cheap. Downloaded it from the net and watched it :rolleyes:, it was on a cam quality. Great movie, liked it!!

I usually walk into these trainwrecks with super low expectations but I have to say this is one of the best movies I've seen since 300. Very good flick, will watch again many times.

Yeah I heard the same thing and waited around 15 minutes just for some nerdy crap I don't even care to understand.. Not worth waiting for unless you live and breathe comic books.

Saw it last night. Would say it was worth being late to work this morning and failing in a certain prescheduled duty.

I had one tiny gripe, I don't understand how he escaped that one thing that happened near the end. Maybe I just blinked at the wrong time?

I had to miss the extra scene due to the people I was with not being the type of people who care about that sort of thing, but I found a really horrible phone cam clip of it on youtube. I like Nick and all, but it seemed kinda pointless.
