Tranny Filter

Ok, I am replacing the External filter and internal filter on my tranny, for the external I am using the Perma-cool kit and internal I am using the standard replacement. I was wondering what would be recommended for the fluid? I was thinking of using AMSOIL since that is what I run in my engine as well. Also, Does anyone have a link on how to flush the tranny? I noticed that there is a how-to on this but I cant recall so... Is there a gasket I need for the the tranny pan or just use some of that orange gasket compound stuff(for lack of the name):p ? Any other ideas to protect this tranny would be greatly appreciated:D :D

Do a search and a wealth of info will come up. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on Amesol as the highest flash and fire points that has been independently verified is with Mobil 1 sythetic atf. Cheap, available and completely mixable with anything out there.

There is a How-To on it. Go to transmission and then to the Internal Filter for directions. :)
