I was wondering when somebody would post this. There's hope these cars will finally begin to appreciate in value.

Re: '92 SVX on BaT

they have to go up in price someday as the only things left will be shells with no engine and no harness.
Maybe swap EJ22 in them with turbo in future. or else electric motor conversion....mmm that would be so back to future. ...

Model 3's are rolling out the door pretty steadily. Should be a supply of wrecks shortly. Tesla Model SVX -- I like it.

3 hours to go. Bid early, bid often -- just like voting!

Holy cow -- there is bidding action. 3 active bidders!

Re: '92 SVX on BaT

$5600! With the 5% BaT fee that's nearly $6K. This was a very nice car -- gearbox aside -- but wow. Maybe a corner has been turned.

I saw the auction too. Very exciting to see the result.

This car is back on BaT. Apparently the buyer needs to pare down the stable. It's been driven 100 miles since it was last sold.

I was wondering when you'd post this.:p

No reserve. Do you remember what it sold for last time?

BaT is part of my daily interweb routine. What's weird is there are 2 Dakar Yellow 2000 BMW M Roadsters listed at the same time. I feel sorry for the guy with the high mileage one although he may get the spillover from the other auction of the 28K one which ends sooner.

$5600. The link in the first post should still work.

I saw those too. BaT does that sometimes. Call them on it and they'll issue platitudes about the cars being 'different enough' and/or 'attracting a different kind of bidder.' I feel bad for the sellers too.
