Re: Sad scorched SVX...
"As-is, where is?" Are they kidding? Who'd want it? That's what you call a total loss.

Re: Sad scorched SVX...
There is not a single usable part on that car. It will end up getting crushed. I believe they are obligated to put it up for auction first. I could be wrong though.
Also, look at the nasty rust holes in the door. |
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
THE GAS CAP MIGHT STILL BE THERE!!!
 |
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
No the gas cap is not there !!! - they threw it away as they placed the rag into the fuel filler area!!!!
Man I have never seen such a sad car in my life, but what makes me curious is "how they got the VIN info" |

Re: Sad scorched SVX...
WOW - I will have to check mine, I only thought that here in NZ the VIN number was an aluminium plate that was riveted to the engine bay body work?
Se how much I notice these things under the hood!!! (only had mine for past 15 years!!) |
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
I thi k I know what happened the guys wife got tired of him spending more time and money with his car than her....and she ended it
|
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
Makes me wonder, how many svx's are left in this world ?
does anyone have a estimated amount ? seriously. |
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
Once in a while I'll see a totally toasty car like this in the you-pull-it junkyard and wonder why they even bothered to set it out.

Re: Sad scorched SVX...
those rims look totally fine... and they're not backwards!
i'm surprised that charred svx still has its unique windows... |
Re: Sad scorched SVX...
As we would say in the hvac field "It's at the end of it's useful service life." :)

Must have been a hell of a fire to melt and warp the body like that. Probably burned out before fire crews even saw it.
...Are those "speed holes" in the rear bumper beam factory? (Joking but also serious question) |
