There is not a single usable part on that car. It will end up getting crushed. I believe they are obligated to put it up for auction first. I could be wrong though.
Also, look at the nasty rust holes in the door.

No the gas cap is not there !!! - they threw it away as they placed the rag into the fuel filler area!!!!

Man I have never seen such a sad car in my life, but what makes me curious is "how they got the VIN info"

The VIN number is stamped into the firewall and would still remain readable even after a severe fire such as this.

WOW - I will have to check mine, I only thought that here in NZ the VIN number was an aluminium plate that was riveted to the engine bay body work?

Se how much I notice these things under the hood!!!

(only had mine for past 15 years!!)

Once in a while I'll see a totally toasty car like this in the you-pull-it junkyard and wonder why they even bothered to set it out.

The right rear rim is completely melted off and the right front began to melt. I would not want anything off this car, even if given to me.

Must have been a hell of a fire to melt and warp the body like that. Probably burned out before fire crews even saw it.

...Are those "speed holes" in the rear bumper beam factory? (Joking but also serious question)
