1997 red paint color name
 

Hi guys.

I have a red 97 SVX and I am trying to locate touchup paint.

I dont have access to my vin number.

My car is the standard factory red from 1997.

Anyone know the paint name ?

Im confused since paintscratch.com says the paint requires clearcoat.

They also offer basecoat and primer.

The touchup paint you have SHOULDN'T require a clearcoat. Unless it dries flat. I'd test it on the bottom of the hood, just to be sure.

If it does dry flat, some clear nail polish is the trick. Again though, test it on the bottom of the hood. If it reacts with the factory paint, you don't want that on the outside.

There is something wrong with your paint - it is all fuzzy! :rolleyes: :D :D
