Message From Sharon Tente

Hey Guys 'n' Gals,
I just received this message from Sharon Tente -- Seems like her daughter is running in a fund raiser in Mark's honor. As you can see, she asked that I passed this along to you. Give if you can.

-----------------

Hello Randy,

I wasn't sure if you could get this to all the guys in the SVX club or not. I just wanted to make sure my daughter made her goal and hopefully more if possible.

I finished school just yesterday and I take my state test to be certified next week as a Nursing Assistant. I learned alot, even for my age I was still able to take it all in.. tee hee

I will be working on Mark's SVX soon hopefully. I have to find a trailer to get it to the car dealer that Steve told me to go to so I can get it over hauled and tuned up. Then the big paint job is done on it and then she will be all pretty just like my new baby - B9 Tribeca :-)

Take care and hope to hear from you soon!

Sharon

support! If you still haven't donated, and want to, you still can! Please follow
the link at the end of this email to my webpage. :) Please don't forget that I
am doing this for my father and my two honorees. I am still looking forward to

Thanks for passing that along Randy. That is a very good cause and I hope she makes her goal. :)

Hi, All,

Sharon just emailed me this follow-up letter from Denise, and asked that I post it here. I, of course, am glad to do so. Thank you, in advance, for all who can help out.

LETTER FOLLOWS:

Dear Friends and Family:

I am writing as a follow-up reminder to my donation request for my Team in Training fundraising. I have collected a total $1,279 so far as of the date of this letter. I need to raise a minimum of $3,600 for my fundraising goal by January 6, 2006 so I can go to Arizona.

I know that the focus, since my donation request letter was sent, is the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has made a huge contribution using donations like yours to help cancer victims in the areas hit by the hurricane. They have made a commitment of $1 million to help get blood cancer treatment center and patient support services in the devastated areas up and running again. They are also providing additional financial support to overburdened cancer centers in Texas that are caring for patients displaced by the hurricane. They also ensured the availability of oncology professionals, through the Society’s free Information Resource Center, to help support patients and their families during these difficult times. In addition to their pledge, they are committed to help fund research to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma as well as improve the quality of life for the patients and their families.

I am still training for this marathon in memory of my dad, Mark Tente, who remains in my heart through the difficult times. I am also training in honor of our Group Honorees, Mikey and Kendall. I want to help all of those who affected by leukemia and lymphoma.

All I am asking for is $26.20 – one dollar per mile, but will gladly accept a contribution of any amount, smaller or larger. Please send your donation with any inspirational messages for my adventure or anything else you think would help. You can e-mail them to me at dmj_mn@yahoo.com. Please mail me your contribution by November 15th so I can continue towards my donation goal. If you need extra time, I’ll still gladly accept your contributions after that date until January 6, 2006. Donations are 100% tax deductible and checks can be made out to LLS. Please don’t forget to ask your Human Resources Director about matching gifts which will double your donation. It doubles your gift and makes it easier for me to get to my donation goal.

I am also selling memorial bracelets that you can purchase through my mother using the order form enclosed. They have “Mark’s Crew” on it along with his birthday and date of death. It will be another great way to keep my dad’s memory alive and another source for Team in Training donations. The bracelets are $5.00 per bracelet with $3.00 going towards Team in Training.

Thanks again and God bless!

Denise
