Trans from '90 Legacy

I have '90 Legacy auto as a donor car. Would I be able to do the trans/gear swap into an SVX? I know you can use a 92-98 Legacy, but will the 90 work?

Yes i think it should work i dont see why not, i think it should have a 4.111final drive so you would need to swap the rear diffs, or the limited slip onto the rear diff.
