Oil gauges.
I have been try to chek out how to innstall a oil-pressure and -temp gauges.
Are the some contak on the engine or must it bee drill a hole in the block to too this. I have find a extrapart to the oil filter to read this. Like this one. http://www.biltema.no/ProductImages/.../32-1100_m.jpg but i dont know how this is. |
Re: Oil gauges.
The oil pressure sender unit on my car is running from the location of the stock Oil Pressure sensor (on top of the engine slightly behind the Alternator). Tom used a T fitting and sensors screw in on the opposite sides. Seems to be the easiest way of doing it, for wiring and for read out purposes since this is the spot the stock oil pressure sensor is located in.

Re: Oil gauges.
there are aftermarket galley plugs available as well. this will allow you to use any oil galley plug as a tap for the sensor.

Re: Oil gauges.
If yo get a galley plug tapped for the sender it would look something like this
