Ramps for Pressure Wash?
Do you guys recommend I buy some 40$ ramps for my car to pressure wash the undercarriage? Is it safe and effective to do it without the ramps with the svx being so low to the ground? I wonder if they will make a difference at all with a straight vertical shot of about a foot from straight under the car or if I should just angle the shot under the grounded car? Damn salty winters.

Would probably be much easier, I bought ramps to help wash the deck and pulleys on my lawnmower. I probably should treat my car the same too. I imagine you would be fine as long as the paint ins't chiping and you avoid shooting the O2 wires. I got the plastic rhino ones at walmart on sale for 20something.

Where are the O2 wires located?

They just dangle down right after the exhaust headers.

In Redding??? Ramps are the way to go for many chores on the SVX. Mine get regular workouts. Well worth the $$$ Glenn |
Try Saint Louis. From what I hear Redding is 75 degrees and sunny right now while it snows here. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go to Wal-Mart.

Sorry! Sucks to be you!
Good call on the ramps. Glenn |
I have ramps and they are used all of the time. They work good for spraying up under the car to clean it, or to change the fluids. :)
