Where do I find the spell checker after typing a post?
Please be specific. This site used to have a spell checker, but now it seems to have disappeared.
I am serious about this.

I sometimes have to go to the site to get pics and such from people's briefcases or my own briefcase. When I do, I just can't keep from checking posts. If there is a question that I can help with and has gone unanswered, I can't help but answer it. Also if someone says something adverse to what I know, I like to straighten them out, something like, "The SVX is too big for a rally car. " :D

Larry, if you're worrying about any typo/mispelling.
my suggestion: you could temporarily use the MS-word's spell checker. just copy-and-paste! easy! it works great for my hw. for me, i think i need the grammar checker more than the spell checker. :)

I think its fixed. LOTS of work... Hope it was worth it.... Better yet, hope it works!!!:D :D

These creeps are just as bad as drug dealers, in my book. They give it to you free until they see that you're good and hooked on it, then they charge. They can shove it up their . . . chimney for all I care. I'm not paying. I can take a little ridicule now and then for misspelling words. Unless we can find another free service, I can do without.:mad:

Well, I looked into it. First ones free, right? Well they hope to hook you. Now for all those that thought the spell checker was ahh so cool, here is the price to pay:

For a sites 1 year contract up to 10,000 hits is $150
or
$3500 for our own unlimited personal license!

I think we are going to have a tough enough time coming up with $126 for cables and SCSI terminators. And ONLY 10K hits?
I think we are active enough to probably hit that limit. I mean we are still in month 10 and we have over 20K posts. I am afraid that we would hit the 10K limit around October or November of each year if not sooner due to growth. Sorry about the whole spelling thing. I was not aware they were going to do the bait and buy thing. I will look into the possibility of just making our own, but dont sit in the corner waiting for it to be done:D Live with the banners or dont use it, I just had nothing to do with it.

there's no such thing as free lunch, right? :rolleyes: that's how they need to survive and do their business :rolleyes: to be honest, i haven't touched spell checker before. i need those lively faces :p:D more than the spell checker. i don niiid dat. i ken du wif ouf it 2. :) if i need, like i said, i can borrow from ms-word for free. that's the more powerful spell check. :D
