BlueBook PPV I figured would be self-explanatory as just a starting price, as it is the PPV. Value is determined by both the bluebook and peoples personal interest. The bluebook is capable of taking into consideration the quality of the vehicle, when it makes available the ability to select the defaults, and it judges the condition of your car for you.

This SVX is in Fair condition. The bluebook states it's worth with defaults at $4500 in it's current condition.

If you have anymore questions about the car please ask, I am still working on getting some pictures to post.

Thanks!

kbb is somewhat meaningless when it comes to certain type of rare vehicles such as ours. Well, it's meaningless when it comes to person to person purchase. look at the trade in column for the actual value.

Sorry for being critical in my previous post... good luck with your sale!

In all fairness, let me re-iterate something to the masses here...

There is a Sticky Topic in this forum. Perhaps those of you discussing his price should go re-read it, or read it for the first time.

I will make it a bit easier on you.

I have already PMed one member here... please dont make me PM all of you.

OBO just sounds too tacky. If you are wanting to buy the car for less than 4500 I understand completely. However please don't insult my intelligence my stating the cars worth at 2000 at TIV, when bluebook TIV is still 3175.

I'm not here to gip anybody, but I am also not here to be riped off either. Please don't insinuate that is my intention, nor that my integrity is that diminished.

Somewhat Agree

I would agree somewhat with Earl's sticky post. "Members" do for the most part list theirs on here in "good faith". BUT, we seem to have many that only become members to sell theirs because they think we will pay higher prices than most people. That is the part that is frustrating to many long standing members because they DO know the value of these cars and the large deductions by major items such as trannys, windshields, etc. They do not intend to "tear down" prices, but for the most part just to inject some realities in some of the selling prices.

Just my two cents and you will note that I did not tear down anyone's price. :)

Would it not make more sense to understand that an SVX site, like this one, or cars101 where I also advertised the same car, would be where someone would go if they wanted to sell their SVX? It doesn't seem right to me that someone would be looking for a SVX on a Viper page, or maybe Chevy.com. But if you like, I would gladly remove my advertisement completely, since that seems to be the aim of all of these responses, when I just want to sell my car!

SCREW THE PRICE. I SAID THAT THE BEST OFFER WOULD BE CONSIDERED. Should I delete the entire thing, leave a blank message and let you figure it out for yourself or write it for me? Or since I live in a free country, can I not set the price at whatever seems to fit me best, and then allow you the ability to tell me what you think it is worth, BY BIDDING ON THE CAR?

Does anybody here actually want to buy a car, or talk about how badly sellers know how to set their prices? Or wait, does anybody even want to TALK about this SVX, rather than insult the seller advertising? Or is this site just dedicated to those who really have no business in this section seeing as they are not looking to buy at all, commenting on how a seller chooses to advertise his car, seemingly attempting to undermine the sellers ability to sell period?

Please, I'm not here to be hassled or to hassle anybody. If you want to buy the car, the price is not actually $4500, that is teh asking PPV, as stated. If you are actually interested in buying the car, just let me know what you feel it is worth paying for, and I'll let you know if that is good for me.

RSVX 05-16-2007 12:56 PM

I think my post handled the situation.

The hostilities need to stop.

Now.

All further posts should be in reference to the possible purchase of the vehicle, or information that could lead to that end.

I am sorry if you have become offended by some of the posts, and I have to agree with you that you can ask anything you want for the car. Members here should not criticize your asking price. You did after all ask for offers if someone was interested.

I would like to call your attention to the post that RSVX referred you to. It is posted here, and if followed, will give us more information on your car for sale and make it easier for you to sell your car.

Thank you. :)
