Scare tactics...

That type of information gathering has been going on for decades. Grocery Stores track you purchases, Anything you buy on your JC Penny card gets logged for marketing and sales trend analisys. Hell, the DMV even sells lists of car owners to solicotors.

I remember back in the old days 4-H asked for your social security number on their raffle cards...

The ACLU loves to play on today's hot topics to get financial support instead of actually trying to solve problems. Feed them money, they make a lot of noise... and that's it.

Anyone remember when cordless phones started becomming popular in the early 80's and the ACLU warned that the Reagan Administration would start listening in???
