Door Lock Jammed
 

Went to open the driver's side of my '92 this morning, and the key wouldn't open it. Then I tried turning the key really hard, and forced it far enough that the handle would open it. Same when inside, I have to really force the manual door lock up hard to get out. The power part of the door lock seems to have died.

Anybody have this happen?

I got locked inside my car once. I had to remove # 13 fuse so I could eliminate the door locks. I had it that way for 3 years . I replaced the fuse after 3 years and now it worked fine again . remove the door lock fuse and leave it for a month and then put it back in .Were they working with the remote?

My remote disintegrated of old age a few years back, so I haven't been using it. I'll try removing that fuse...thanks!

Ummm, where is that fuse located?

Found it. Pulled it out, put it back in, voila, door lock works again!

All SVX issues should be so easy...
