widest tire on stock rims, no rubbing?
 

I have searched this but didn't get what i was looking for. I found a thread on tallest tire but not widest.

it says in the door jam recommends 225/50 anyone know if something like a 245 will fit? I am not worried about the height, I can keep it close to stock height but I want width. What are you guys running on stick rims? any help is appreciated, I am about due for new tires, now because the tread is worn down, but because the tires hafta be lie 6 yrs old or older and are showing some signs of ANGRY dry rot.
