In a world of constant spiraling upwards, yes, I would think that this might be good. BUT.

If the prices go down, then those who opted to do this would be eatin a whole lotta loss for sending all them bucks out to whomever this might be.
Boy, am I paranoid......!!!!!

Personally, I think...And I hope that the bottom goes stright to hell, and all the hedgers that make it their business to drive the prices up loose their collective ASSES. I see something happening that will all but make their precious oil worth what it was 20 years ago. Sad to think I was getting mad when it took $15 to fill a 13 gallon tank. Now it goes for twice that, and that's for the cheap ****. "Mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore" is a daily thing in my head.

have not read Nabisco and not going to bother. My 40 second search is enough to verify that I don't need to waste any more seconds on the site....

Historically they have never done business under the name or web site... further investigation of the website reveals that it is a private site (not commercial) being hosted anonymously.

Website is also based on a somewhat common ecommerce template.

ugh... Who do I see to refund my 1.5 minutes?

It is most likely a start-up which will end up yielding a lot off free gas for the guys who came up with it and then fail within 6 months with a bunch of people that were trying to save money having to come up with the cash all over again just to get to work.

The US is making their efforts to reduce their consumption based on prices... If the cycle keeps going there should be about 1/2 of the usage now in about 5 years. People are buying more efficient cars, not pleasure driving anymore.... I cannot tell you how many boats have changed their names to "For Sale" People are riding motorcycles and scooters more often now too... If consumption goes down, prices will fall as well because their profit is made on volume. So they will lower prices to increase sales again... Thats just my $.02

YUP!
I still can't help but think this whole issue on gas prices can cause alot of good! It has sparked the creativity in those who were "comfortable", and woke-up many others.

Better fuel distro and manfufacturing, better alternatives! <-and using the solutions that we already have!
I can see the US "turning the corner" in the next ten years in the energy department.
