92 SVX 4EAT - Automatic Trans in good shape - 4 Sale
 

SVXers, I plan to remove the Auto trans from a 92 SVx parts car. Car still runs and drives. Trans is solid with 120K. No slips or flares or anything else but smooth shifting.

Considering reasonable offers. Pickup is available.

AWD or FWD?

Probably AWD since all 92's were AWD.

Would u consider shipping it? If so how much 4 it shipped to 04005?

Actually I have both FWD and AWD. Both are in good condition.

P.S. Yes I will ship either. I'll contact a shipping company and get some quotes. I'm guessing it's probably around $150 to ship ?????

Anyway, let's go off that assumption until someone tells me otherwise or I get a better idea. Offers anyone?

I need a new transmission for my 92
 

Mine is starting to go .. the car otherwise is in excellent shape. I am contemplating swapping for a manual, but will consider your auto tranny if the price is right. What price range do you have in mind ? I already have quotes from my mechanic for a remanufactured, 1yr. warranty replacement and a new tranny from Subaru. 120 K is a fair bit of mileage for a part with a known propensity to fail, so i assume the price you are looking for bears that in mind ?

Yeah I know it has some miles.

Why are the diff gears so valuable? Are they sought after for some other trans or something? You have me curious now.

Ridiculously expensive from the dealer and lots of folks blow them.

No codes. I'm asking $600 plus shipping or you can arrange pickup. Hell, I'll even drive a couple hours out of town..
