Finally got it on the road, now I am getting a 16 flash power light.

I replaced the rack and pinion, and the front calipers, and it finally passed the safety inspection with flying colors.

I started it up this morning, and saw that the Power light flashed 16 times. I searched and found that this indicates a transmission problem. Being wet outside, I floored it from a dead stop, and there was no slipping from any of the tires, which I am assuming that means the AWD is working correctly.

The only difference I can feel is on a lower rpm 1st-2nd up shift, it is shifts just a little harsh. The other gears are as smooth as silk. When I lay into the throttle a little bit, the 1st-2nd upshift feels fine. I am not hearing any weird noises. I also checked the AT dipstick, and the fluid looked normal and did not smell burnt. This is also making me think a solenoid at this point

I am going to get it scanned on lunch to see what code it is throwing, and will post it up when I find out what it is. My main question, is that this is my daily driver, less than 30 miles per day, will it kill the car to continue to drive it like this in a mix of stop and go traffic/highway driving for a few days?

Thanks in advance!

Alright, I did the TCU Error code check from SVX-IW.com, and found it is One long, and one short code, meaning code 11 if I am understanding it right. Also, I was pretty happy to read that the common problem for this code is a faulty transmission resistor. Anyone know where to get one? :)

I believe there is a document in the how to section that shows you how to replace it with a stock resistor from an auto parts store. Or contact SVXFiles he did mine for me.
