code 11... Crank Angle Sensor
 

What is that all about? first got the 11 code right after my "200,000 mile Burgundy looking SVX" got a engine replacment from Japan and that has been 3 months ago... Happened again yesterday. Engine raced up a couple of times and died as Check engine light came on. I immediately checked for the code and got code 11. :confused:

Maybe something wasn't replaced from the old engine that should have been done? I think there are some things that are not compatible... Any ideas, anyone?

Replace it with a new or known good used one.

it is likely the wiring right to the plugs, they are prone to cracking and such

Where might this "Crank Angle Sensor" contraption be found on the car:confused:

Just below the alternator, mounted directly on the oil pump. It is easy to remove, but you may have to unbolt and lift the alternator out of the way.
