2 things

First off, if you at www.techimo.com in there forums they have a quick reply option...which is just a reply window already there so you dont have to hit reply get taken to another page then reply...can we get that , its really nice

(After looking you have to be a member inorder to see the quick reply option)

2nd, do we want a SVX Network UD Team (united devices-uses idle processor power to find a cure for cancer)???

Mike asked me to post a screenshot of what the quick reply box looks like, so.. ti's below.

I passed the info onto chris to take a look at before making changes. Seems fairly harmless.

I like that idea... half the time i dont post because i'm too lazy to hit the 'reply' button... I'll catch up to randy in no time with that feature! :D

I used to post on a board that used that same style, although it did not have the quick reply function. It used XMB ...uhm...language? But it was definately XMB. Maybe we (Chris) can get a copy running and check the code to see the exact schematics of how it's done. Although it doesnt seem that hard, just make it open the reply window in a new window.

The quick reply can be done and its very easy to do, what it will be is that within each new topic there will be a quick reply after the last message..so when you are reading you can post right away...makes things a little easier, espically for those on a dial up

Bwana 04-23-2002 08:00 PM

Hehe, dial-up :p.

Sorry.

Unfortunatly, scott, those of us living in rural areas dont have the ability to get high speed internet.

I know, I didnt mean it as a put-down of people who a) Cant afford it or b) Cant get it, period. Just havent heard it in a while, I usually hang around a message board of people who play Ultima Online, and most, if not all, have broadband connections.

Yeah, me too. Don't be dissin' us dial-up users. Can't get broadband or DSL -- Satellite is just soooooo freakin' expensive! SHEESH! It sucks, not to have an alternative.

I'm hoping that they will find a way to use methane as a high speed internet catalyst. That way, I can just go out into the field and hook in to one of the cows. :D:D:D:D

Hmmm....Owensboro. Isn't that where Jon Brennan from MTV's The Real World was from?

Was and is. He's still around and performs at local churches as well as at "Goldies Opry." :).

Ah, and let us not forget the Waltrip boys -- plus, the Greens and Mayfields came from just down the road. And, it's a little known fact that Johnny Depp hailed from these here parts. Florence Henderson grew up just across the river, but spent a lot of her childhood here.
