WTF @ gas prices!!

It's $2.75 for 93 here! It was $2.55 this morning! How do they expect people to pay this with the way things are going? I normally bite the bullet, take the bait or whatever your prefered expression is cause I love to drive but what about the people on fixed incomes or minimum wage? WTF?!

It's called the summer driving season, gases prices jump at this time every year, but ya know what? You're paying about $1/gal. less than you were this time last year. Still as bad as it seems?

Re: WTF @ gas prices!!

Ours jumped to $1.02/litre or $3.85/US gallon for regular. Last week it was $3.36.
93 is $4.50/US gallon.

Gas prices ALWAYS go up during the summer. After $4 per gallon last year, I'm still thankful that the prices are where they are.

My company pays for my gas, though. The higher the gas prices get, the better the chance of me finding a nice Land Rover in my price range. ;)

Oh I didn't know it was planned that way. This was more informative than I thought it would be, lol. Thanks

The speculators are helping with the BIG picture as well. :(

Gas always goes up at this time.

If they don't go above $3, it'd be cool.

A friend gave me a binocular, just use it to
confirm the gas prices thru my window.

As of right now:
Regular , $2.59
Regular+, $2.69
Premium, $2.89

Not to mention the USD/CAD ratio, the cost of gas versus the average canadian income and the income taxes. You guys (americans) probably enjoy the world's cheapest gas prices!

Taking most of these factors into account, americans pay their gas 4 times cheaper than canadians.

yesterday, i saw the biggest price difference ever between regular unleaded and diesel. i wish subaru would just sell me a turbo diesel impreza 5-door already.

Re: WTF @ gas prices!!

Y'all forgetting how high it got last year? Think of the fools who went and bought some gas hog over the winter because the cost of fuel came down.

I saw regular for $2.239 this morning and $2.339 at a different station, at lunchtime. As the economy levels-off, fuel is only going to get more expensive.

it's much easier to remember that gas was in the $1.30s back in december 2008 and january 2009. :)
