Maroon Spotted today (Hairy?)
 

Just headed back to Auckland from Opononi (via Whangarei) - spotted another SVX at the Ohaeawai junction (I had done a u-turn to buy a coffee).

I waved but no response...........was that you Marcus (Hairy).

Mate..it wasn't NUTSHL...though I have been doing a fair bit of travelling to the Kaipara Coast, BoI and beyond recently. (The Tall Ships out of Russell and a reunion at Dargaville were latest.) Have you ever traveled the Babylon Coast Road...between Bayleys Beach and Kai Iwi Lakes? Amazing wee backroad...great scenery. :-)

I was in Silverdale, where I saw the darndest thing.................a pearlie towing a boat trailer.................I've seen towbars on SVXs before (Surtees & Ewie) but never one towing anything.

I think I saw NUTSHL last week, I was on Balmoral Rd at the lights waiting to turn right into St Andrews Rd. There was an SVX on St Andrews that came out and turned onto Greenlane West Rd, heading toward Greenlane.

I think it was claret/burgundy with a black roof??

Yes I have only ever used my tow ball to carry my mountain bike (Slingshot MT3).

Guys!!

I saw one yesterday too!! It sounds like the one I saw. A dark burgundy, like Ian's NUTSHELL, but NO personalised plates. It had a gold pinstripe and a lady driver that has dark complexion.

So, since I have been here, I have seen TWO!!!!!
