It's a sad, sad day...

Today, is the first day in 11 years that I will not own an SVX. :(

Before you all start yelling, yes the driveshaft has been disconnected.

The SVX, formerly known as 'Precious', is now on its way to Eric's (aka SomethingElse) home.

He has big plans for her.

But there is a bright side to all of this (I think?)... This helps my wife, son and I get into our first house. And I have a Boxer to drive still, only its a 2 cylinder BMW Motorcycle...

Hopefully, down the road I will be able to get another SVX.:(

Hey! Can you still be a "Network Administrator" for this network "without" an SVX? Just kiddin.:D Sorry for your loss:(. Good luck and congrats on your first new home:). I know the feeling. I had to sell my Harley to buy my first house. I had not been without a bike for 30 years:eek: I am now looking into starting to ride again. I am sure once you are settled in you will be looking for that next SVX. Again. Good luck on the house.

The car wasnt really for sale. It was a combination of awkward timing by a super p.m., and the wife, the house, as mentioned..it was just the right thing to do at this time.

The first stop for the car is (besides my garage for some dismantle) the paint shop to revive the original color. Ive got some very nice 18" wheels for it, Not all homiefied up. After paint work comes a new tranny. A side dish of motorsports springs and koni inserts to getir riding smooth again, Topped off with battery relocate and a side of new rotors and pads.
. No tint..gotta love the bronze.

dam its gonna be sweet.

I can keep the name "precious" unless it offends you Chris:)

And I need to send your your LFO cd back and a couple others I shouldnt name:lol:

edit: After doing some thinking, and getting another car with a 5 speed already, Ive decided to keep this one close to stock as possible. After all it is a limited production car.

RSVX 03-10-2008 06:22 PM

You can keep the name... Other CDs, really? Wow!

And whats wrong with the rotors it has? :p

OH CRAP, I forgot... There are already Infiniti 2 or 3 ways in the doors...

immortal_suby 03-10-2008 07:12 PM

ruh-roh - someone forgot his Kenny G cd

"Play artist Michael Bolten"

"PLAY ARTIST KORN"

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

SomethingElse 03-11-2008 02:59 AM

lmao:lol:

Yeah, they were hidden in the super secret sticky spilled coke collector. a.k.a. the tray under the pass seat.

The rotors are good they are just rusty, I have brand new slotted zinc coated ones to install...The rusty ones will go on ...the stocker.

This car is in great shape. One of the best kept cars I have ever seen.

RSVX 03-11-2008 06:28 AM

Thanks!:D:D

svxistentialist 03-11-2008 06:33 AM

Hey Chris, I'm sorry to hear you are parting from your car, but I can see the logic. Home and family first, nobody gonna shoot you for that priority.

Enjoy the other boxer meantime, and when you get flush again, an SVX will still be a cheap car I reckon.

Best of luck with the house.

Joe:)

I sold mine a month ago, it sucks. I now drive pass one everyday on my way too work. Its good to see you found a good home, I sold mine to carmax and feel like crap that I let her go like that, its like dropping a puppy off at the pound. :(
