The auction says it's a repo car. I'm guessing some kid got in a wreck and couldn't afford to fix it and didn't have insurance coverage. So they lost interest in making their monthly payment on a car they couldn't drive and let it get repo'ed. Poor SVX. :(

That car's sad story started when it got bought by a DB who put 'APC' stickers on it.

Yeah I noticed that too. I suppose that contributed to my assumptions a bit. :o

I'm going to assume DB= douchebag and APC is an aftermarket parts company for the masses....i.e. if you want your '96 Cavalier to have clear corners, APC will have clear corners for it. They have never made anything for the SVX.
