Tire/wheel size
 

Does anyone know if a 225/55/17 tire will work on an SVX? I'm not sure what the clearance is...I dont have the car in my possession yet.

A 225/55/17 tire is almost 2" taller than the stock 225/50/16. That would make your svx accelerate more slowly and cause a LOT more heat in your transmission. Please don't do it.

Usually if you go to a 17" wheel, you would put 225/45/17 tires on. That is about the same as the stock tire. :)
