Power Issue/Rough Idle

My 92 svx has been great since I bought it, but about a week ago everytime I start it, it idles very rough for about 30 seconds and then levels out. After the rough idle, every time I give it gas (in any gear) it sputters and lurches from about 1200rpm to 2000 rpm, after it hits 2000 rpm it smooths out and runs like a champ. also, if I give it enough gas to jump up to 2000 rpm it does not lurch or anything.

Have already checked all vacuum lines and MAF sensor, everything is in order as far as those are concerned, any suggestions anyone?

Check your coils or your plugs. Same thing happened to me. Located a bad coil, had it replaced, problem gone.

Re: Power Issue/Rough Idle

reset computer (unhooked battery) and cleaned throttle body thoroughly, seems to have helped, for now. I plan on going through and checking all the possibilities before it has a chance to flare up again.
