Whee! Today was a good day.
 

Decided to detail my interior today.

I took my driver's seat out for the first time evAr so I could vacuum the old french fries, quarters, and alkaline dust. My seat motor and everythign is looking pretty sweet aside from one component being corroded as all hell.

I got down to fooling with my trunk/fuel cover release becaues the trunk has not worked in 2 years. I traced it back to the cable just not being connected in the rear. :rolleyes:

While I was in the trunk I fiddled with my rear washer resevoir because it has also not worked for a couple years.
I traced the hose and everything around, turns out the guys that replaced my rear windsheild, Safelite, not only did a ****ty job of doing it but kinked the water line right about one inch from the very end near the glass. Now it sprays just fine. :D

Ah, the little things.
Only minor isue I have now is my rear right marker does not fit into it's socket. It'll sit in there but it won't "attach".

I don't think my SVX has any major problems aside from a busted center diff/sol C, and some leaky engine seals. :/

I weighed my seats for the heck of it.
Passenger seat is 49lbs. Driver's is 66.

It doesn't take much sometimes to make you feel like you did hours of work on the car. It is so nice to have the little things fixed and workng again. :)
