NW February Meet images posted

Hey all

It was great to meet you and your cars. Nice resource of experience and information. If you send me a note as to which car is which, I will rename them with proper credit. I have more images, but have to wait for the film to be developed.

Thanks for coming!

I put the images in my locker.

Thanks Brian for the test drive. It is fun to see what the SVX could have been if this had been a stock option from Subaru. Now all we have to do is scrape together the $$$ if we want that as an option.
It was fun meeting everyone and seeing that many SVXs together at one time. Many topics were talked about, and I learned some important things. I hope with a little more notice, we can get even more together next time. The cars are fun, but the people make them even more special. I am very happy to have been part of this gathering. :)

Ditto to everything Earl said. That was awesome! With 10 SVXes (only 9 at a time as one left before the othe came but there were 10!) plus the Vanago VX I think this has to be a NW record! And on 4 days notice! I see big things in the future....

Anyway, it was great meeting everyone and seeing so many of the cars together at once. Stay in touch here and we'll do it again!

Great pictures Jerry!!!
I will have some pictures up in my locker later today or tomorrow. I'll post on it...

Hey, guys. If it isn't too much trouble, could you go into the "group" pic and do some "labeling" putting names with faces. That would be cool. That way, I can "see" you when I'm talking to you. :D

I'm a little new to this particular site. How does one get to the pictures?
BTW I post mine at www.pstwest.com/svx That is my company site and if anyone wants to use it to post pics etc to it is fine by me just let me know.

Don

Go to the top right hand side of the site, and select "Personal Lockers"
Select a name that has the pictures or other information that you want to see, and when you get to the locker, select the information or picture you want.

Earl,
I just wanted to say a couple of things about your signature. First of all "1993 and Barcelona Red" are redundant. Secondly, I like your fish. ;):D

ensteele 02-06-2002 12:36 AM

Thanks Randy

The reason that I had that on my signature was - there are members who have different colors who claim to have Anniversary Editions. My understanding was that the Anniversary Editions (AE) only came in barcelona red with tan interior with the touring package - the full meal deal. It was the first year that red was offered as well. There were other colors that year, but they were not the AE. (I bet fur will fly now!) I have now changed my signature so it reads without the color and the redundancy and at least I have another person who believes this to be true. I guess that the 1993 is redundant as well, but I will leave it there because some may not know what year that edition came out. Oh well. I probably am not telling you anything new, but someone might learn from the post.

Thanks for the feedback. :) :D

Cool thanks! Was nice to see the pictures.:D
Now can you tell me how to set this site so I get messages copied to my email? I do receive a message that someone has answered my posts but was hoping to set it like the other site where I get every message just sent to email. I use Outlook and can set it up to autmatically filter and sort them into nice little folders that way. I can get away with reading email all day but LOL surfing the websites takes away from work time.

If everyone will send me their names and location on the photo, I'll lable it and repost.

Help me ID the car's owners as well.

Thanks,

No biggie, Earl. I was just giving you a little friendly crap-o-la. It's my job . . . it's what I do. :D

PS Whatever you do, don't let me see you with your wheels on backwards. :D:D:D:D:D

I have posted most of the names but don't have the last name for Tim and Alex nor their online ID's here. If I have spelled someone wrong, let me know, I can easily fix it.

Two who were there but are not pictured here are Earl Steele (ensteele93) of the red Barcelona Red '93, and Mike (bansheemyk). Any others?

ensteele 02-06-2002 09:22 PM

wheels

Randy

I didn't really see wheels on backwards until someone mentioned it when I first started to read these posts. Now I can't stop looking, and find them on backwards all of the time. You can try to catch me, but I don't think that you will. ha. Now - I can tell you a few that do have them on backwards though -:D :D ;)

Keep the troops in line - E.
