I alternate between the ATE Suoer blue and the ATE Amber 200

Same basic fluid except color. Easier to see when all the old fluid is flushed between clanges.

I alternate between the ATE Super blue and the ATE Amber 200

Same basic fluid except color. Easier to see when all the old fluid is flushed between changes.

That's one of my core plilosophies. I call it the "Silver Box"

Not real boxes, but a symbolic container in my mind.

I have hundreds of these silver boxes. Each one contains the best memory or emotion of anything I encounter. they include such things the "best" vacation, the "best" anniversary dinner, the "best" surprise, the record for the longest I have ever owned a car, etc.

So every time I have a new experience to grade, I open up that particular silver box and compare what's in it to the new experience.

If it doesn't measure up as being better than what I have, the original experience remains in the silver box as the "best".

If the new experience is better, it replaces the old experience that was in there and the new experience is now the best.

The silver boxes are always current.


Obviously I have a box for the "best" AWD car I have ever owned (which I don't see changing anytime soon.) At 67, I believe the SVX will be the last car I will ever own.

You know...They make these things called photographs. There is a fancy new development called Digital cameras. I hear they make digital photos, which last time I checked, were WAY easier to store than some silver boxes containing degradable and ever-aging pictures.
