Not a SVX though. Put the deposit down on an '02 Midnight Black Pearl WRX wagon today. Just need to get the financing and insurance on Monday and I pick it up Tuesday. It'll be the first manual I've driven, so that should be interesting. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. :D :D

Yes, I finally bought a car and I can't wait to pick it up...from the little drive I had the car is just amazing. When they say that it doesn't give up its death grip on the road they weren't joking.

I'm so glad I bought it instead of the Baja I was considering :o

Sweet choice. I almost got the MBP wagon but found a sedan instead.

Its mine! Pictures tomorrow. One thing I learned- while the car does sound like its redlining and ready to shift once you hit about 3000 RPM, the real fun doesn't begin until well after that. :D It goes from quick to fast. And I love it to death.

Congrats. Can't wait to see the pics. Btw, is it a 4EAT or 5spd WRX wagon?

how do the calipers and rotor hats look? i repainted teh wife's a month ago and it makes a *huge* improvement over the rusty and corroded look.

I love it.....now all I need to do is learn how to take off on hills.

That's easy...
Left Foot Clutch, Right Foot gas (revving to about 4k), Right hand on E-Brake lever.

With the trans in 1st. All in one smooth movement, slide your left foot over so the clutch pops out as your dropping the E-Brake and stomping the gas.

All the while laying either 4 rubber patches on the pavement or one dead 5 speed tranny :)

check my locker for the painted headlights mod. I like them a lot.
