SVX classified ad ???

Hope he gets every penny. It wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit to see the value of these cars rebound, or at least stabilize.

I don't even have an issue with him asking $7,800 for his '92. I'm just not sure why he tells you the car is worth $4,000 and you can get a nice '97 for $7,800.

Hmm... I thought the message beneath the headline was someone's remark about the price. If it's the ad copy, then you're right; that's nuts.

Obviously a marketing student. :D |
That is way too much for a '92 with over 100K miles... I don't think the guy is smokin' crack, just naive or oblivious to the car's true value!

Com'on... y'all are supposed to say $7800 is a great price for a '92.
Seriously, value isn't determined by numbers in some book, but by what someone is willing to pay for something. It's in the interest of everyone here to encourage um... healthy asking prices for SVXs, or at least pull for a seller who sets his or her sights a bit high (even if it's a dealership). dcb |
Heck, I mean, even with 79,400 on the clock, this is a bit steep.
