Budfreaks Birthday Meet!
 

I am trying to put a meet together for my husbands birthday. I talked to the people at Dragway 42 and we can arrange something for all SVX's to be together and they can have trophies for the cars and they would make it to where we can go down the track without interuptions from others. They also said we could cookout and everything too! The meet would be Saturday November 4th. I don't know yet what the cost is, I have to know how many cars will be there before they will let me know. If interested in spending the day at Dragway 42 then let me know as soon as possible. I can be there, just fill me in on the time and how old will he be? I have not been on this site for a while but would love to come if all goes well.

This race will be Road Demons final appearance until spring. It will probally be wrecked and not in the best of shape, But it WILL run at this event for as long as people will come. I will be going for the 4.44 1/4 mile record, Wrecked or not.

I can probably be there, at this point I have nothing planned for that weekend.

I marked you down as coming on the list just keep me updated on everything. I appreciate it much that you are coming and everyone else that can is too. Jason needs the support right now, especially the support of the SVXers on here! We are pretty much heartbroken over the accident and everything!

Ok. I have set the date for sure with Dragway 42. There will be 5 or so trophies to give out and its $10.00 per person wether you race or not. Kids 14 and under are free. They said they open at 10am but he wants us to get there around 9:30am so we can mark our spot! They are going to have us a staging lane. Well, thats all I know for now! As soon as I know more I will post it up. Really I just need to know how many people will be coming since that is the way you pay! If you can reply with the number I will be able to get it all together faster! Thanks everyone

Well, So far I give it a thumbs up that I'll be racing. The rear quarter is where I feel safe with it and I'll keep working on it and getting it pieced together for the meet. Within a week or 2 after the meet the car should be off to Subi-crosser to be fixed up and painted and it will be back on the road like new in the spring. Hope the weather holds out and I see you all there.:)

Are there any rules for children coming along?

Kids are no problem. Check out post #8 in this thread for the details. I'll see you there.

Make sure you all bring proper clothing and so on to keep warm. I hope most of you will be willing to race since they are going to give us our own lane and area and so on. This is gonna be fun!
