A quick gratuitous photo.

When I got home from work yesterday, I looked back at my SVX after parking on the street in front of my house and couldn't help but take a picture. I love this car! That is all.

That's the house across the street! I can't take credit for that house, or the perfect lawn! I don't have that kind of time! ;)

Thanks! I read and showed this to my (non car enthusiast) wife, and even she said it looks really good.

I live in hope of getting my pearlie on the road (and not upsetting my wife in doing so ).

Mazda RX-8 wheels. 18" with a perfect +55mm offset which fit the SVX without problems.

(which is the only redeeming value of that car)

Sean, this is true. Sitting in one in the showroom was as far as I got.

To me, sports cars have to have a certain curb appeal, as well as performance, and I just never warmed up to the 4 door styling.

On the other hand, I have driven the third-generation RX-7 (1994) with the twin turbo setup many times and, despite its shortcomings, prefer it much better as a sports car.

I thought that I was in Church at the time, and when they opened the door for me I put a handfull of cash in their hand..
