Door plate weight?
 

On the door plate there a weight stat that reads: GVWR 4455lbs. Guessing, is that Gross Vehicle Weight Rating? I thought the SVX weighed around 3500 lbs... Is this figure assuming a full load of passengers? It's also broken down front and rear.

I thought that was how much weight the car was rated to carry.

3580 curb weight + 875 cargo = 4455 total ;)

yes it's gross weight. car, fluids (petrol, oil, etc), luggage, passengers, and any aftermarket accessories all should be less than or equal to the GVMR.

There weight stations around if you want to know the weight of your specific car - call any transportation/moving company, they'll know where to get a car/truck weighed.

Generally scales are found at truck stops and gravel quarries.

Scales are also found on fish! :eek: :p :D
