Hood badge disassembly?
 

Has anybody ever disassembled their hood badge.

It seems like some damp has got inside my alcyone badge and tarnished the silver. I'd like to open it up and polish it back to a shine.

I once found a Japanese website where someone had done this, but I can't find it now. How is it constructed? Layers of plastic laminated together? Should I warm it in the oven and see if the layers pull apart?

I think that is the ONLY THING that Seraph has not taken apart! :D :D :D I could be wrong. :rolleyes: :)
