Got another "Window" comment
 

Sitting in the Jack in the Box drive thru, I pull forward and the guy that is there blindly turns towards the window and says, "Your total is....wow, those are windows. How the..."

I explained them to him and he just sat there with a look on his face like he just blew a gasket thinking about it.

Yeah I always get drive thru comments. There were also a couple guys next to me at a light tonight who were breaking their necks to look back at my car.. Even sitting still this car's fun :)

I was at a busy McDrive Thru today and the guy reached his arm out with my bag of stuff without looking and bumped the top glass. He apologized & said, "Cool car". It's so dirty tho, hope he didn't notice!

I felt really stupid a couple days ago when I was at the drive through- i went to get my food and i smashed my face on the inside of my own window.

I had a police officer do that to me when handing my liscence back to me, after pulling over because he thought I was driving with highbeams on. After 20 minutes of trying to show him how the headlight/highbeam/fog lamps are set up. He tried handing me my liscence and smacked the window.

After that he just didn't know what to do. All I could do was laugh

I was having my windshield repaired and the guy warned me about replacing my windows... of course I know they are probably next to impossible to get without raping another SVX.

I like sitting at a light with people staring and rolling down the rear ones too. They always love that :D :p I want to get them tinted but im sure its expensive. can i tint the top half as dark as I want and not get in trouble?

You should tint the bottom half and use the top half as a peephole.:p

Usually the only comment I get about the windows is "I don't think I like that." All I can say is "well, that's why it's my car and not yours."

Now if I had a nickel for every time my car was mistaken for another car, I'd be a millionaire. So far I've heard delorean, prelude, eclipse, and (ack!) saturn.:(

Yellow, yes! It was one of my regular customers. She said "cute, what is that, a saturn?" Her husband looked mortified, lol.

Boxer, I thought I'd be the only one, the the FIRST day I brought my baby home I saw one in a Ukrops parking lot, polo green and everything. A red SVX was also parked in my work parking lot one day but didn't think twice about coming to say hi before they left. There's also apparently a black SVX somewhere on Park.

I'm gonna be pretty busy for the next week or so, not to mention my car's in the shop.:( We'll definitely have to get together sometime to terrorize Richmond drivers! By that I mean drive like normal people. It'll scare the natives to death.

LOL yeah we'll have to do that sometime. I just got mine out of the shop. havent even had the car long enough to switch my new personalized plates on yet lol. Ah well, I like the Fire Dept plates on it too.

Richmond drivers driving normally? Yeah uh... sure :rolleyes: We have crazy people but everyone drives the same cars. Either civics or jettas or a cheap bimmer or benz. I get asked about my SVX at almost every gas station.

Oh and dont ever go to the McDonalds At Broad and Boulevard by the childrens museum... They are the worst ever and one of the employees was actually caught trying to get into my car. So avoid it lol
