Best of luck with the sale Phil.

I already got two of them, so I can't buy another. Or I will be summarily shot!!

Best of luck when you sell, and don't forget to check in now and again.

Phil,

Shame it's got to go after all the work you did on the engine. Still, a place of your own is much less of a money pit than an SVX.

I got mine back from MG Cannon's on Saturday with the front suspension sorted and the car now driving in a perfecty straight line with no more pull to the left. Yeehaaaa!!!.

Just got a couple more little jobs to do then mine will be up for sale too. I'll wait until yours has sold first, no point making life more difficult for both of us. :D

What I'm really hoping to do is PX it for something small, cheap and economical to get me to and from work and a few quid to put in the bank.

Cool, good 2 hear u got it sorted Glenn!

Had a woman look at mine 2nite, just from being parked in the road! (Still got £3995 in the window! LOL) She's gonna ring me 2moro, which would be nice!

I got a LOVELY :S little Proton for sale too if ur interested! LOL Only £500! Suit u sir! :D

Phil.

Let us know how you get on when the woman comes to see your car.

How come you're flogging the Proton? What will you use for tansport when you sell it?

Glenn

I could use it, not really thought about it yet! Would prefer 2 get a diesel car, save a bit more money i suppose?

I've been looking at the cheapo cars on Auto Trader today, there's plenty of good looking stuff for minimum cash. Loads of Escorts and Fiestas with all the toys for five or six hundred quid or so. High mileage granted but still worth a look. You should be able to get a cheap diesel no problem.

What's the cutoff for the cheaper road tax? Is it 1500 or 1600cc?

Notall There 11-29-2004 04:40 PM

It's 1550cc :D £110 for a year! So thats cheap too! lol

The Monzta 11-29-2004 04:53 PM

Did the woman ring about your SVX? I take it that when you do sell it you'll be getting the beers in. ;)

Notall There 11-30-2004 11:55 AM

LOL Yeah!

No, she's not rung yet! :(
