Need a Graphic Design Artist
To all, I know we have some computer guru's on here and thought I would seek out some of their services. I own a small asphalt sealcoating company and am looking to revamp my flyer, I have the basic layout and wording that I've been using for the past few years, just looking for something a little more professional and eye catching. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Chris

I can't really do much without PhotoShop, but my MS Paint skills are impeccable :D
Post what you have so far and I'll see if I can think of something, but like I said, all I have to work with is MS Paint, which isn't too flashy to begin with. Unless I can manage with MS Word or PowerPoint. Personally, I'm a "less-is-more" kinda guy. Monochromatic colors and vanilla ice cream ;) |
I'll send you a pm...my real issue is that my current flyer is a pdf document which does not allow any editing...apparently I need an updated or different version of adobe acrobat...either way I'll send you the flyer..
Actually, pm me your e-mail...I don't think we can attach files on here... |
Hey, graphic design is kind of a side skill I picked up with my marketing and advertising background. If you want me to have a go at it send me what you've got to skubasteevo@gmail.com.
I don't have a lot of down time so I probably wouldn't be able to do all the work for free, but I should be able to at least convert the .pdf to something you can edit and if you want me to do some work then we could talk about a price. If you want to see some of the other stuff I've done check out http://lawrencevillegardens.com (did that about a year ago) and http://skubasteevo.com/atrion/templatedemo.php (working on that right now) |
I'm taking marketing and desktop publishing in school and have all the software available to me so I could take a look at it if you'd like. Drop me an email at iceblade@fallenangelsx.com with some details about what kind of flier you want and I can probably throw something decent together.

Well, there you go SVXMAN. Apparently there are quite a few people here with more experience than me. ;)
Hope you find what you're looking for. |

Have at it! I think that a 'sample' should go to all respondants and then some dialog, then a decision. That way the new guys can get experience, the customer gets to weigh his options and the best possible result will show itself. I had some ideas on some changes to our system at work. I drew them up, presented them to our 'intern' and she worked them into a 'viable' plan. We are working on a presentation for the County Commissioners. I will not steal her thunder. I will show what I came up with and explain that she did the program that we are presenting. She couldn't have done it without me, ( they are my ideas), and it would not look as good if I had seen it through on my own. The best part of the exchange is, now SHE understands how the program works. That makes 4 of us out of 35! She still can't do what I do, because she doesn't need to know how it's done. She's training for management. The other 2 people that understand the program are management, so the union won't let them run it. That leaves me. I am glad that young people are taking over the reins. those old guys are getting tired and really want to go fishing. |
