swapped radiator, checked all fluids (including rear dif), and hoped it is just the rear tires and not the wheel bearings!

I brought another one home, and put a good battery in it so I didn't have to jump it to get it off the dolly.:)

Hit 150,000 kilometres on an outing to watch Aerial Skiing at the Canada Games and get in some snowshoeing.

Car was white with salt so I just had to hand wash it, even if it was -4 C. It was sunny and the car deserved it.:D

Since last Friday I have not been as productive as I was VERY sick all week, but, here goes;
Last Friday I met John Hoffman in Hagerstown to fix an annoying anti-rattle clip squeal, and we continued onto New York to buy and save a very clean 96 Polo with 98k.
The prolonged return trip home took untill 5:29AM Saturday...:rolleyes:
Saturday I delivered a completed project SuperCharged Corvette to it's rightful owner, (and the Vette developed an unrelated oil leak at the untouched intake manifold on the way home.:rolleyes:)
Sunday I met Kevin and Keith from Va with their two SVXi, swapped out a custom exhaust system and diagnosed some weird noises.
Monday I set Christine's spoiler back 1.5", and Ashley fixed a rust hole, and did a complete stock repaint.
Was VERY, VERY sick with a sore throat and ear ache, all week and only did home stuff, new water heater, vacuumed, dishes, you know.
Swapped out Sean486 bad 4EAT with a fresh 4.44.
Shipped out some HD handling stuff, finally felling better,
Work begins tomorrow!:D
Oh yea, also got a title for the clean 98k Pearlie that I got from NJ last fall, AND finally titled and got a plate for my Cammo 3/4 ton ex-Army Suburban.
The Suburban is soon to have a Jet Tech Supercharger, Hi Rise manifold, long tube Ceramic headers.
The parts are here, just need to install.

All I could do today was to think about my SVX. It's in the shop :)

Dropped it off at the shop for the trans rebuild.

They haven't looked at it yet but I think the diff might be cracked.

I took the cover off the '97 Bordeaux to show it to my sister and brother-in-law... and prayed for spring to arrive.

I put air fresheners in the def. vents cause wife smokes in the car. And took it to an alignment shop to inspect for worn front suspension parts, attempting to find what's rattling over the bumps.

Replaced the rear windshield wiper motor. It was very easy.

Had the shift linkage adjusted, drove it home with it's new 4.44.

The shop is taking apart my transmission at this moment. Seems the shifter forks are busted. Will know more when they call me later. It wasn't looking very good. Here are the parts I bought pre-emptively for the rebuild (assuming at this point there will even be a rebuild).

I bought a Competition Clutch stage 2 (~$600) to replace the F1 Racing stage 1-2? that was in it. It was likely damaged anyway. I found out earlier the reason for the chatter could be explained by a missing pressure plate bolt.
I asked the tech to examine if any parts of these two models are interchangeable.

I bought a 05 series Legacy GT gear swap kit for a little over $1000. 1-3 are slightly taller, closer ratio, and a bit stronger than WRX gears. I'm willing to give out the part numbers.

My upper radiator hose is leaking so I'm attempting to get some shipping costs from Dayle for silicone hoses.

The viscous coupler is trashed.

He reccomends I find a used tranny to swap parts with, or else just buy the broken parts and hope for the best.
