The whole automatic tranny thing got boring real fast.. and for the cost of a 5spd etc, I'd rather have something already with a manual. (and a v8)

What's the mod list? Has the former owner ever dyno'd it or made some passes down the drag strip?

still a nice ride....If I got one, I'd get a saleen....probably late 90's model and put some wicked side pipes on it. Is that a Cobra GT?

It's a regular ol' Mustang GT with the 4.6L motor rated at 260hp. The S281 Saleen is basically GT w/ a body kit & a freer flowing exhaust.

The s/c S281 Saleen is a whole otehr animal though...my friend has one and went 12.2 @114 on 285 wide street tires.

... Actually Saleen parts are mostly a joke. At least to anyone who REALLY knows mustangs.

My buddy actually worked for Saleen with the new 05 mustang. I can't believe the amount of money they sell that crap for. I'd rather have a fox body thats been sorted out with actual race parts personally.

I had a mustang once.







But then I got a job, out of the projects, off welfare, and stopped producing single moms.

It just didn't fit me as well after that.

I like the 1984 Porsche 928 S sitting in my garage right now. But after Reading tomorrow, she goes back to the dealer. I hope to add one, permently, soon. We'll see how that goes.

Hmmm I thought it was rated at 220hp ? or was that the early 94-95 years?
