I was driving my girlfriend home yesterday when a toyota truck crossed the centerline and slammed into us head on. I was released from the hospital last night and my girlfriend is still in there. The police report said that two of my wheels were already on the shoulder when he hit me so he crossed completely into my lane. My poor subie is totaled. I will definitely find another one if I can. I completely attribute the fact that I was able to walk away from the accident to my SVX. I'm the only person involved up andwalking.

Wow that sucks man, I got hit yesterday too but mine is nothing like this. Glad you're ok!

I think luck had everything to do with your injuries not being any more severe. Judging by the (very small) pictures, the passenger cabin is as deformed as something from a Chinese crash test video!

sorry guys cant get the pictures to post at a normal size. my dad has since looked at the car and cannot understand how my legs werent broken. my shoes are still in the floorboard we cannot get them out. I'm already going to begin my hunt for another SVX.

p.s. I'll work on posting better pictures.

Wow! I'm glad you are OK and hope your GF recovers quickly. Luck aside, that is a testament of the structural integrity of Subaru's design.

I need to start remembering to latch my lap belt :eek:

If something like this happened to me id be the one stuck in the floorboard.
