How can this car have so few miles? Can someone share a CF report please?
 

This is sitting on a dealer lot in PA. VIN # JF1CX3551SH100830

They claim 16K or so miles but the pics show fading in the usual spots: side belt molding under the window and the mirrors.

I sold my 94 two years ago after 17 years and I want another one.

Interior looks good, as well as the body, from what I can see.

Rusty calipers. No engine photos. Could possibly be that mileage, but the timing belt, seals and hoses are 20 years old. Probably not a lot of maintenance records.

The Barcelona Red is notorious for fading of the rear quarter garnishes and mirrors. I saw fading just as bad on this color went I bought my polo 12 years ago.

Can't access the VIN from Firefox. At $20,000, he's gonna be sitting on that one for a while. For all the parts that should have normally been replaced over the years, he should do a reality check on parts availability.

thanks for the quick response. Yes my 94 red one faded in those spots too, back to black seemed to help somewhat.

I,m in eastern South Dakota so its just not possible to do a look see, but perhaps a PPI by a local Subaru dealer. The area is unfamiliar to me but I did send them an e-mail for more info.

UPDATE: talked to "R W" at the dealer (really, the guy said "Romeo Whiskey") who said the car is on consignment, its been there for "ages", the lot owner is tired of seeing it and wants it gone and that the car owner has refused a cash offer of $13,000 because they think its rare like a cobra. Oh well, the search continues.
