60K maintenance

What is the going price for a 60K maintenance? My dealer in Charlotte quoted me $575 for the deal. Thanks.

That sounds pretty reasonable. I paid more than that for mine.

Also have them do the water pump at the same time, others can probably recommend other stuff..

money pit to make it right..

I payed $1300 for the 120k service (which is same as the 60k) at a subby dealership in Georgia, But ended up payin twice as that to take care of all isues, seals, rear bering, tranny cooler, etc..

ouch..

1042 60k + water pump

I just paid 1042 For a 60k + water pump today....

I provided redline synth hitemp tranny fluid, and iridium sparkplugs,
+ atf extrernal filter kit...

so that makes it about 1150 total for me.

I have a sneaking suspicion they didnt actaully change my fuel filter, even though they charged me 30 bucks for parts, but I'll have to check if when its daylight. (I hope I'm mistaken)

11 bucks for a PCV valve, they were two bucks at Kragen(have one in the garage but I couldnt change it myself)

120 for timing belt
130 for water pump

I probably could saved almost 100 bucks if I bought them online, but somehow they persuaded me that warranty and parts/labor/convenience was worth it)

32 bucks for the two belts

20 bucks for two camshaft seals?

Considering that California mandates that our timing belts survive to a minimum of 100K miles, I'd at least consider putting off that portion of the service for a while. Personally, I did my timing belt (and water pump for insurance) at about 105,000 mi's.

It's a non-interference engine- the absolute worst thing that can happen is for you to be stranded at an inoportune place and time. It happened to me once with either my '85 or '87 RX. Luckily, I had a tow bar at home to get the car home.
