Diagnostic connectors

There is a procedure for checking the codes for a flashing "check engine" light. The diagnostic procedure says:

Remove the driver side kick panel (panel next to the left foot rest, where the fuse box lives)

Find blue wire, and plug into black connector, top row (top row being side with notch), 2nd hole from left to right

The member who needed this procedure says when he removed the kick panel there were two blue wires and he wasn't sure which one to connect into the 2nd hole (read memory mode)

Anyone out there know anything about this? The member's name is Andy Tsao (club name: ANDIVIC)
either post here or PM him directly.

(His symptoms include hard starting, mileage of about 160 miles on a tank, flashing CE light. I thought O2 sensors, injectors, etc.)

Any one of the blue wires will do. They are identical (both connect to the ground). The purpose of the second one is that you could connect both hole #1 and hole #2 (reset ECU memory)
