Anyone here buy an eBay high output altenator?
 

So, The Beast is starting to act up again....

lights dimming... not starting sometimes.... the 5 warning lights as I've read in other posts. I'm almost positive it's just dying for me to replace the alternator.

Has anyone bought one of these from eBay?

I always go to a local alternator shop and they rebuild them for me, usually only like $50. Probably not for the subaru alternator, but for most domestics, places will even upgrade the unit. I think the alternator in my 72 cutlass is 120 amp and it is great. If they can work on Bosch units, you will be fine, and probably save a bunch of time and money.
